Memory disorders are common disorders and are steadily increasing. More than 100,000 persons in Finland suffer from some type of memory disorder. Of these, between 7,000 and 10,000 are of working age. The onset of memory disorders are characterised by forgetfulness, behavioural changes and reduced vocabulary.
