Cardiology is a medical speciality that encompasses examinations of the heart and circulatory organs. The most common diseases in cardiology are coronary artery diseases, arrhythmias and heart failure. It is a good idea to consult a cardiologist if you are suffering from, for example, chest pain or if your blood pressure and cholesterol values are chronically too high.
