My background is in dentistry and medical research, mainly internal medicine. That career ended in a burnout accompanied by alcohol abuse. After rehabilitation and rejoining the workforce I studied and graduated with a degree in mental- and addiction care so I could help perheen that found them selves in similar situations I had been in.
I sincerely believe there is no silver bullet solution for treating alcohol addiction. I personalized plan is needed to find the right support needed and for that you need at team of skilled professionals from different fields as well as support from family and peer groups.

I offer help and support combining both professionalism and personal experience. I am very focused on the practical things in everyday life that can be difficult in the different stages of recovery. By identifying upcoming challenges such as business trips, family- or work related parties and holidays and discussing coping strategies it makes it easier to overcome obstacles. The supply of family and loved ones is important and a partner och signficant other is always welcome to join you. I also offer to find professionals to help your family members if the help and support they need is not in my area of expertise.
