I am a surgeon for whom patient interaction is important. The patient’s understanding of their symptoms, underlying factors, and test results is essential.
The investigation of arterial and venous diseases is my area of expertise. These include intermittent claudication, chronic leg ulcers, varicose veins, and the diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis.
Since 2016, I have focused particularly on vascular surgical diseases and their treatment, with varicose vein surgery being one of my first areas of specialization. Ultrasound serves as a fundamental tool in diagnostics.
My strengths lie in surgical skills, and procedures such as laser and foam sclerotherapy are part of my routine practice. Personalized treatment plans are always based on national and international clinical guidelines.
My international experience includes a year in California, medical studies in Tartu, and work in trauma surgery in Johannesburg. My doctoral research focuses on visceral aneurysms (aneurysms of the abdominal organ arteries).
