WHY PERSONAL TRAINING?

Personal training is training on your terms, but a little outside your comfort zone.  The idea is that you will achieve results with your training and get the support you need to achieve your goals. The goal can be anything from losing weight, building muscle mass or improving posture, to being able to take the stairs at work, increasing your energy level in everyday life or simply feeling good.

There are many benefits from exercise.  It gives you endorphin rushes and thus increases your well-being, both physically and mentally. It stimulates your brain – improves memory, learning ability and concentration. It prevents a large number of diseases through its positive affect on, for example, the heart, blood pressure, blood sugar, physical fitness and energy consumption. It also helps you cope with stress situations in a better way.

THE TRAINING PROGRAMME INCLUDES

  • You receive a thorough analysis of your muscle strength, mobility, fitness and posture
  • You receive customised programmes and a training plan to achieve your goals

  • With a physiotherapy-trained PT you are guaranteed to train in the right way and you minimise the risk of incorrect training and strain injuries
  • With a PT, it is never difficult to find the motivation. We push you when it gets tough
  • Training outside your comfort zone will help you reach new levels!

BEGIN WITH A STARTER PACKAGE

We recommend that you begin with our starter package and then build on your progress with our other packages.

The starter package includes a total of 5 sessions.

  • During the first session we sit down and discuss your training background and your goals. We take a look at your life situation and training possibilities, if you have any illness or injury that may affect your training. The training schedule and exercise plan are also drawn up during the first session.
  • During the second session, we do a muscle and fitness test to be able to chart your progress.
  • The third, fourth and fifth sessions focus on training where we go through your exercise programme, among other elements.

If it is in your interest and we believe it is important for your training, a food journal is kept. We review the analysis during the third session.

Bring along comfortable workout clothes, footwear and a water bottle to all sessions. Based on your circumstances and wishes, we will then recommend a package that suits you best.

Our PTs are all also trained physiotherapists, so we can assure that you exercise safely with us.

As your PT, we are your training partner, who is there to motivate you and help you achieve the desired results. The training is not like anything you've done before on your own!

I work as an OMI Physiotherapist and Personal Trainer at Eira Hospital since 2011. My goal is that you´ll leave my reception on light feet, with a good feeling and with an understanding and equipment to help yourself!

You problem is my challenge. My specialization in advanced Orthopedic Medicin gives me an good instruments to make a diagnosis and give a treatment for musculoskeletal problems. I also have competence in fasciatreatments and Kinesiotaping.

As a Personal Trainer I can help you to get in shape, build muscles or to start training after a pregnancy. We´ll build you a functional exercise program according to your goals and your starting point. You can train here with me at Eira in our Kinesis-gym, outside or at your own gym. My background as a Physiotherapist makes exercising safe and challenging.

As a person I´m very cheerful and empathic. I love challenges and I´m a true optimist! Exercise and training has been a part of my life since I were little and I always have a lot of things going on. At the best I´m completing my Masters examination in Health Promotion at Arcada.
