No referral is required and it is easy to book a room for yourself or a relative by calling the unit directly. It is a good idea to divulge everything relating to the patient’s health, ability to move, medication and special needs at this stage.
The price per day includes accommodation, meals and the care provided by the nursing staff 24 hours per day. Doctor’s fees, consultations, laboratory and radiological examinations and procedures are charged separately. It is possible to apply for reimbursement for these from Kela.
